Dr. Day began working at UR CAPS in 2011 and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor. Dr. Day oversees aspects of clinical and crisis coordination as part of the CAPS admin team. She currently serves as the advisor for the Peer Sexual Misconduct Advisors (PSMAs), CAPS undergraduate interns, and CAPS LPC residents in training (when on staff).

She is a generalist with a background in trauma-informed care and crisis response, and specializes in working with trauma survivors.  She serves as the liaison for the Center for Sexual Assault and Response, Residence Life, and UR police department.

Dr. Day enjoys spending time with family and friends, chasing after her three kids as well as recreational running.
