    Chioma Isiadinso is a Doctoral Psychology Intern at the University of Richmond Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) for the 2026–2027 academic year. She is in her final year of the doctoral program in Combined Clinical and School Psychology at James Madison University. She received her Master of Education degree, with a concentration in Cross-Cultural Counseling, from the University of Pittsburgh.

    Chioma enjoys working with individuals in the emerging adulthood stage of life. Her theoretical orientation draws on humanistic, attachment, and systems frameworks when working with clients. Her therapeutic interventions are grounded in a trauma-informed and integrative approach that incorporates psychodynamic, CBT, and other modalities to support each client’s unique needs. Her clinical interests include trauma interventions, building healthy relationships, and helping clients build resilience.

    Outside of her clinical work, Chioma enjoys exploring different cultures through trying new cuisines and visiting new countries. Music, museums, and movies are some of her favorite ways to spend her time, and making meals for friends and family brings her joy.
