Tiffany joined the CAPS team in January 2022 as Staff Counselor and Case Manager. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, providing services in both community-based, school-based, and outpatient settings. She is trained as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and is registered with the state of Virginia as a Clinical Supervisor. Tiffany provides clinical supervision and support to graduate trainees, serves as the staff advisor for Spiders Against Bias (SAB), and is the liaison for the Chaplaincy.
Tiffany describes her counseling style as empathic and warm, with a trauma-informed lens. She considers herself to be engaging and non-judgmental. Tiffany focuses on meeting clients where they are with intention and therapeutic support, creating a safe place for healing, restoration, and personal growth.
Tiffany loves spending time with family and friends, and playing with her Shih-tzu. Her interests include decorating, traveling, attending outdoor events, and enjoying live entertainment.
